Wittner Wollman Group’s real estate and development dynasty started with the guidance and mentorship of Ted Wittner as founder of the commercial real estate group Wittner & Associates Inc. Ted, Jon Wittner’s uncle, was a pillar of the St. Pete community and its evolution. Jon grew up inspired by his Uncle Ted watching him develop the City Center, the Wittner Centers, and other professional office complexes in St. Pete. This experience motivated Jon to pursue degrees in Real Estate and Finance at Florida State University. After graduating, he began his real estate career in medical development. Jon and Ted went on to collaborate on several medical development projects. Jon has continued his career with Uncle Ted’s legacy as inspiration.
Early in his career, Jon played a pivotal role in the development of seven medical office buildings ranging from 40,000 to 75,000 square feet. His ability to cultivate key relationships with Humana, Columbia, and HCA led to the completion of four successful projects. Jon’s work with Black Diamond Ranch showcased his expertise in development and pricing strategies, where he also stood out as the top sales associate for three years. His partnership with Hawk Development, LLC, resulted in successful land speculation projects in Tampa, while his leadership at Strategic Development, LLC, spearheaded multiple high-profile ventures, including retail, fueling, and car wash properties, as well as major retail developments in Wesley Chapel and Land O’ Lakes. Additionally, he directed the development of convenience stores through Peregrine Development in Riverview and Wesley Chapel.
Before joining Keller Williams, he built an $85 million listing portfolio with Grimaldi Commercial Realty, Inc. Wittner founded the Commercial division of the Keller Williams for the Kevin Chadwick Group - the largest Keller Williams franchisee in the Southeast U.S- in 2012. Since 2014, Jon has focused on development-related brokerage, sourcing prime off-market tower sites in Downtown St. Petersburg. He has represented high-profile clients in setting record-breaking comps throughout Tampa such as Hyde Park and in St. Pete at Mirror Lake, 4th Street North and St. Pete’s Innovation District.
While still working at Grimaldi, Jon posted online looking for an intern. In the summer of Jake's sophomore year at the University of Florida, Jake was selected as the most promising prospect due to his intellect and insight. After completing his degree at UF, Jake went on to earn a B.S. in Finance and a Master’s in International Business from the University of Florida. During his studies, he participated in a business exchange program at the University of Manchester in England and completed a Master’s specialization in International Management at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Shortly after Jon launched KW Commercial in Tampa Bay, Jake and Jon reconnected. Jake’s business acumen, inspired ideas and networking superpower allowed him to ascend to a partnership role. After working together on KW Developer Services as partners in that business for over 4 years, WIttner and Wollman decided to formalize their brokerage partnership by forming Wittner Wollman Group.
Led by a shared passion and belief in the potential of St. Pete and Tampa Bay, Wittner Wollman Group was founded. Jake and Jon’s goal is to continue the legacy they have been building in St. Pete by instilling their love of city and community involvement into their team. Through each deal they bring to life, through every city official they meet, through ever local entrepreneur they partner with, and through every new talented mind they mentor, the possibilities for our community grow exponentially.
